Donna McClendon

Returning home after 17 years of faithfully serving in the military, Donna McClendon became all too familiar with the current state of veterans affairs. While she was able to navigate existing programs for veterans, she realized quickly that not all veterans were in the same shape.

After helping a close friend find the resources they needed, her resourcefulness and kind and thoughtful way of interacting with the heroes who needed her help began to spread - and thus was born, Let's Talk Vets.

I was a young girl when I joined the military. I spent many of my formative years adapting to military life, not considering what life after the military would look like, and that was something I was not prepared for. I was able to figure things out for myself, but found that my case was the exception to the rule. I just couldn't stand for that.

Veterans have a unique voice, a perspective, and experience most people can't relate to.

Let's Talk Vets (LTV) was created by veterans for veterans in hopes of connecting military members with resources and support to assist them on their transition journey.
LTV is not just a hub for information. It is a place where vets can find support from people who have been where they are and understand the struggles in transitioning to civilian life. We thrive on helping each other, sharing resources and stories, listening and caring for those that have been where we have been. Let's talk!
